Being Recognized

I am pleased to share with everyone my first feature on another blog. Rachel Carlson of Lost in the Attic found my work through the Holiday Handmade event postcard.

Mid week she asked to feature me on her blog for this week! It was so amazing to hear her kind words. And they really couldn’t have come at a better time. My sales for October at the shop in town were a bit low and I was beginning to feel a bit down about my work. Rachel’s words picked me right up. Also, with the craft show today and tomorrow, I’m getting nervous about selling. I ordered SO many Christmas cards, I don’t want to be stuck with lots of left overs, so I’m hoping they sell well this weekend.

I’m looking forward to the time after the show so that I can regroup and figure out the future of Lexisworks. Don’t worry, there WILL be a feature. I just want to establish a direction and how to best incorporate it into my daily life.

I’m off for a day of errands and prep before set up at 3 today. Also, a bit of indulgence. I am getting my nails done.
